Experience
Anna Block is a Provisional Psychologist with a strong interest in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She adopts a warm, client-centered approach, utilising evidence-based therapy to collaborate with clients and their families in achieving their unique goals.
With professional experience in community, school, and hospital settings, Anna has facilitated individual and group interventions and developed programs addressing challenges such as stress, anxiety, low energy, mood, and emotional regulation in adults.
Anna provides evidence-based treatment aimed at achieving positive outcomes, including:
Managing stress, anxiety, and mood regulation
Building self-esteem and resilience
Improving social and communication skills
Helping with emotional regulation and coping strategies

Anna is trained in administering a range of psychometric assessments, including those for learning disorders, cognitive functioning, anxiety, autism, ADHD, and depression. Her strengths-based approach ensures that interventions are tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. She works closely with clients to ensure strategies are effective and aligned with their goals.
Anna’s background also includes experience in nutrition, coaching, and wellness, contributing to her integrated understanding of the factors that contribute to overall health and functioning.
As a provisional psychologist Anna is supervised at the clinic by Clinical Psychologists Amy Lynch and Dr Olivia Elvin.
Anna is available for appointments at our Bulimba clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
