Services Offered 

  • Language Assessments for children aged 3 to 22 years. This is a comprehensive assessment utilising the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals, Fifth Edition (CELF-5) that examines a broad range of expressive and receptive language skills.

  • Language Development Assessments for children aged 1 to 5 years is an assessment designed for the observation of early language skills.

  • Speech Sound Assessments for children aged 3 to 11 years. This involves the assessment of speech sounds in words and sentences along with articulation and intelligibility of speech using the Goldman-Fristoe Test of Articulation.

Experience

Kate is a Speech Pathologist who completed her Masters of Speech Pathology at University of Queensland. Prior to completing her Masters, Kate worked within the administrative team at the Brighter Futures clinic. She has experience working with children, adolescents and families in both schools and within the community. Kate has assisted with co-facilitating group programs for 4-8 year old children at the clinic. Kate is passionate about collaborating with families to help children and adolescents work towards their speech and language goals. Kate sees clients via telehealth (Coviu videoconferencing) to provide assessment and support for a range of concerns including language development and speech sound difficulties.

Kate conducts assessments via telehealth on Friday mornings.
