Experience

Laura is an Occupational Therapist who completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland. She has had experience at a paediatric private practice and Autism Queensland, where she also worked as a qualified behaviour support practitioner (person-centered and non-ABA).

"I like to focus on creating a safe space where children and adolescents feel accepted and empowered to achieve their goals."

Laura describes her approach as neurodiversity-affirming, nurturing and holistic. She values getting to know her client's strengths and interests, and collaborating with those around them, to create an environment that the client can thrive in.

Outside of work, Laura likes to read fiction, swim, make nature crafts, and spend time with her family, friends and cat Aggie.

Laura works at our Bulimba clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, at our Mount Gravatt East clinic on Tuesdays and conducts school and home visits on Thursdays.
