Experience:

Majella is a Provisional Psychologist currently pursuing her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. Her passion lies in supporting children, adolescents, and families on enhancing their emotional wellbeing. With a warm and collaborative therapeutic approach, Majella employs evidence-based practices to help her clients achieve their desired outcomes. Majella recognises the significance of building rapport and trust, particularly as embarking on therapy can be intimidating at first.

Majella has gained experience from providing psychological services at her university clinic and in community settings. Through these experiences, she has worked with various age groups and presentations, including supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals facing moderate to severe mental health challenges.

Under the guidance of Supervisor and Clinical Psychologist Amy Lynch, Majella conducts client sessions at our Bulimba clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

  • Enhancing emotional regulation and emotional awareness

  • Anxiety related conditions

  • Fostering self-esteem and assertiveness

  • Enhancing social understanding

  • Assisting parents in implementing positive and effective parenting strategies to manage difficult behaviours
