Experience

Rebecca is a warm and empathic clinical psychologist who has extensive experience in a range of contexts and with individuals of all ages. She is skilled in both short and long-term therapeutic techniques, and holds a strong belief in the transformative potential of recognising and harnessing an individual's strengths and resources to enhance their overall quality of life.

In addition to the treatment areas listed above, she is passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She is skilled in working with autistic women and girls, late adult diagnosis, and can assist with camouflaging or masking of autistic traits, understanding and expressing emotions, social anxiety and navigating relationships, management of sensory processing, burnout, parenting, and management of neurodivergent meltdowns and shutdown. She takes pride in using a Neurodiversity Affirming Approach. In addition, she has specific experience in working with chronic health conditions and their overlap with mental health due to her previous work in a public hospital.

Her goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgemental, inclusive, and collaborative space for her clients and their families to thrive.

Rebecca works at the Mount Gravatt clinic on Tuesdays.
